Appreciation for Great Suppliers

There has been a lot of radio-silence from me on this blog for the past few weeks. That's because recently I have had a bit of a tough time but I'm now picking myself back up and getting ready to move on to bigger and better things.
I'm sure that everyone has been through times like this, especially when starting out in a new venture so this isn't an excuse, I just wanted to let you know what has been happening.

I have, however, made excellent progress on my website which will *hopefully* {fingers crossed} be ready to launch on Monday 31st October 2011! It's all very exciting and thanks to the amazing talents and heart-warming generosity of Emma B Photography, Joanne Spencer Photography, Very Inviting Stationery, Vintage Twee and, last but by no means least, Neil Redfern Photography I have some wonderful images that add something special to my website. I hope you like the selection that I have featured on this here blog post too!

I will only be featuring credible, talented suppliers that I have the pleasure of meeting or working with and can't wait to share my créme de la créme of the wedding industry that I have met so far. And at the rate I am going, that page will be the longest of them all!

I just wanted to show my appreciation for those suppliers that I have met who are professional, friendly, genuine people. If it wasn't for their helpful advice in the past few months, I might have given up a few times, but thanks to these select, wonderful people, I will soon be in a position to unveil my website, my service, my business and myself into the world of events and weddings.

I guess, in short, what I'm trying to say is....

A Sneaky Fairy-Inspired {Sneak Peek} - Joanne Spencer Photography

I know it has been a little quiet on my blog recently, but I promise, it's for some good reasons.

Firstly, at the beginning of September I worked with some lovely suppliers who had some amazing and creative products to turn the vision of a fairy-inspired photoshoot into reality. I have been waiting patiently and have finally been handed the discs of photos from the amazingly talented photographers, Emma B Photography and Joanne Spencer Photography.

Today I want to show you a little sneak peek of two images from Joanne Spencer Photography that I immediately fell in love with. This wonderful photographer lets her passion for photography drift beautifully into her shots, and the effort she puts into it really comes shining through. Her photography itself is whimsical and ethereal - perfect for a magical inspiration shoot!

If you want to see both Jo's and Emma's own sneak peeks, check them out here, here, here and here on their blogs.

So here they are...

How amazing are these?!

The models, Liz Hardiker and Nikki Moore were so easy to work with as they listened to direction and just delivered exactly what the photographers and I were looking for.

We also had the help of the suppliers on the day:
Rachael McNeela (Hair & Make Up)
Kay McEllin from Wrapor (Shrugs & Boleros)
Natalie from LOVE Bouquets (Heirloom Bouquets)
Debbie from Glamour Bridal (Dresses, Veils & Tiaras)
Joanne Smith from Simply Bows/Lancashire Bride, who will be blogging our shoot here very soon so keep your eyes peeled!

All these suppliers were either registered to attend or met at the Brides Up North NW Tweet Up back in August, and each supplier brought their own individuality to the shoot through the pieces that they supplied on the day. Choosing the dresses was the most difficult, as there was so many that I wanted to use!

I can't wait to share a {sneak peek} of Emma's photos at a later point, which will hopefully lead onto the whole shoot being blogged with Lancashire Bride.
I know I said that I had good reasons for being quiet on this here blog, meaning there is more than one.

I am also working on a winter themed shoot to take place after Christmas and I will hopefully be able to bring that to you all in late January! I am so excited about the suppliers I will be working with and the ideas I have for the shoot - I really can't wait to share it with you, and it's not even happened yet!

The final reason I have been so quiet is that I have been getting my head down and cracking on with my website, which seems to be taking forever! However, I can now say that it is very close to completion and I am hoping that it will be ready to launch next month (exciting times!!)

I actually had my reminder that I need to pay my annual fee on the website to keep it running, which means that in November I will have owned Perfect Choice Planning for a year! This makes me even more determined to finish it and show it to you all, as you must be getting tired of me mentioning it!

So many plans, it feels that things are starting to come together. I can't wait to share the rest of my shoots, and all my musings with you.
Until next time...
